Canobie Lake Honda's 12 Months, 12 Charities Program

This year, our goal at Canobie Lake Honda is to continue supporting local charities and businesses right here in the area. That focus on better serving our community has led to the announcement of our 12 Months, 12 Charities program.

September Charity

This September we helped sponsor the St. Thomas Aquinas High School Golf Open. This annual tournament raises money to support St. Thomas Aquinas High School and its mission to deliver high quality education. Part of the money raised will help provide tuition aid for students. We are happy to continue our support.

August Charity

This month, we are happy to sponsor Field Of Dreams. Field of Dreams is more than a park, it is a community space where families connect and children of all ages and abilities can come together to learn life skills and build social connections through play. There are playgrounds, an outdoor fitness trail, hiking trails, a stage for performances and picnic areas for families. Canobie Lake Honda recognizes the importance of supporting such a vital community space.

July Charity

This month we are pleased to donate to the Salem School District's nutrition program. The Salem School District's Nutrition Department serves daily breakfast and lunch across all district schools. They work to provide healthy meal support to students from elementary to high school. We are proud to contribute to this important program.

June Charity

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 at Salem High School! This June, we are happy to once again donate a used car during Senior Safe Night. The car is raffled and given away to a lucky graduating senior. Senior Safe Night is a long-standing, volunteer-run overnight graduation celebration full of activities, movies and a hot breakfast in the morning. Canobie Lake Honda is proud to support such a long-standing tradition.

June Charity

This month we are sponsoring the Derry Demons Golf Tournament. Money raised from this tournament supports the Derry Demons youth football and cheerleading program for children ages five to fourteen. This program serves the communities of Derry, Chester, Auburn and Hampstead. The Derry Demons work to build sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical development. We are happy to help this community organization.

May Charity

We are happy to donate to the 22nd Annual Fore Paws Gold Classic golf tournament to benefit the Salem Animal Rescue League. The Salem Animal Rescue League helps provide care, shelter and second chances for animals in need. Canobie Lake Honda is committed to supporting SARL and its important work.

April Charity

This month, we are happy to donate to Community Crossroads. Community Crossroads' mission is to provide people needing long-term support, due to age or disability, with information, guidance and support to help them live full independent lives, and remain in their chosen homes. At Canobie Lake Honda, we are glad to support the work they do within our community.

March Charity

In March, we are proud to donate to Camp Carefree, in New Durham, New Hampshire. Camp Carefree is an American Diabetes Association camp for children. The camp hosts children who live with diabetes. Each year about 100 campers from the New England area experience this summer camp in a medically safe environment. Canobie Lake Honda is happy to support Camp Carefree and the caring environment they provide for children.

February Charity

This month, we are happy to support The Salem Family Resources organization. The mission of Salem Family Resources is to promote the education, health and well being of Salem area children. We are glad to make a donation and support our community and its children.

January Charity

This month, we are happy to sponsor the Salem Rams Cheerleaders as they travel to compete at the Nationals in Orlando this season. The Salem Rams Cheerleading program encourages practice, fitness and supporting one another. All of us at Canobie Lake Honda wish them the best as they prepare for the Nationals.

December Charity

This holiday season, we are proud to once again donate to Toys for Tots. 98% of contributions goes directly toward providing a gift of a new toy, book or game for disadvantaged children. Every donation brings joy, hope, and the magic of the holidays to children in our local community and across the country. We are so glad to support such an important organization.

November Charity

This month we are proud to support the Salem 54th Annual Holiday Parade. This town event and parade are run by a team of volunteers who are committed to keeping the small town feel and an atmosphere of community in Salem, NH. We are happy to sponsor this Holiday Parade.

October Charity

We are proud to donate to Blood Cancer United's Light the Night Walk. This walk in Portsmouth raises money for research, support and advocacy for people with blood cancer. Blood Cancer United believes in offering hope, connection and life-saving research. We are happy to support this important cause.
